The Aftermath of Earthquake / Tsunami in Japan

With a little bit of Nuclear Radiation

Saturday, 26 March 2011

photo

Some reports regarding our status after 2 chaotic weeks have passed.

-Order / preorder / bidding service is continuing as normal.

-Domestic shipment from seller are still limited, we have items dated from early March that has yet to arrive. We expect thing will go to normal hopefully by early April.

-International shipping is still limited only in Warehouse A. We asked several times but Post Office do not give a clear answer regarding when they will be accepting international shipping again. We'll be forwarding your items to warehouse P in early April if this continues.

-We have stop receiving any items coming from Fukushima from March 15th for safety reasons due to nuclear radiation. We highly doubt there is still anyone left in Fukushima trying to sell anything at the moment, so this should not affect anything at all.

-We have received a lot of questions regarding nuclear radiation's effects on items. We do not get any items from Fukushima so it is safe to continue order or ship your ordered items with us. As long as you do not plan to put your toys inside your body in any way (e.g by eating them), tiny bit of nuclear radiation cannot do any harm to your body.

-Due to Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear/other reasons the following preorder release date has been delayed:
--- Nendoroid Army-san (to April)
--- Nendoroid Konpaku Youmu (to April)
--- Transformers United E-Hobby Limited Autobot Set (to April)
--- Transformers United E-Hobby Limited Decepticon Set (to April)
--- Konami Style BeatMania MMS (to May)

Japan Earthquake / Tsunami

Regarding the status of our warehouse

Saturday, 12 March 2011

photo

Thank you for many inquiries regarding our condition, as well as warm messages that we have received from many of our customers. Currently there is a total black out in our warehouse area, Aomori-ken, and unable to get any contact with any of our warehouse staff living there after the big earthquake and tsunami/flood. As such, damage on our warehouse is unknown at the moment. Unfortunately one of our warehouse are located very near to international shipping port, and is very close to tsunami affected areas. Customer service staff is in separate location from warehouse and is safe, however during this time international shipping and orders will be suspended for few days. We will not be able to answer any inquiries regarding order, nor ship out for few days. Rest assured we will try our best to resume operation as soon as possible.

Tsunami Yokatta Warehouse Map

Warehouse P is located slightly far back, if your order number's first 3 digits are P11 or P10, your items are stored inside this warehouse and most probably safe. All preorder items that have yet to be released will be forwarded to our backup warehouse as well in Tochigi-ken area, not near any of these two warehouses and therefore safe. We will put more information as soon as we receive them. We truly hope for your support, patience and understanding in this dark times.

Update: 3/13 4:51 AM We have received contact from Warehouse P, as expected everything is alright over there, all operations are to continue as normal starting from mid-week (March 17th). Still no contact from Warehouse A.

Update: 3/14 10:39 AM We have received contact from Warehouse A, things are slightly messy but there are no water damage. We need sometime to put everything back so international shipping from this Warehouse will start from early next week (March 21st).

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

A.K.A. United States stop receiving parcels from Japan

Saturday, 20 November 2010

photo

Starting from 17 November 2010 Japan Post has stopped accepting all kinds of parcel shipped with airmail to United States (this would include EMS, Airmail, as well as SAL). We are affected by this ban and is currently unable to ship large items to USA only. One Figuarts-sized parcel seems to be okay though (yay!). We're currently making a contract with Japan Post and this contract will be enabled after certain investigation is done by the Japan Post. This will approximately take one month to complete. We will be able to ship out to USA again on near end of December to early January, or as soon as USA lifts the ban.

We deeply apologize for our customers located in United States who use our service to get a Christmas present and is now definitely unable to receive your items in time due to this unexpected accident that is beyound our control. We will provide one extra month of free safekeeping time for everyone who is affected by this incident and is already nearing on their four months safekeeping time limit. We also accept shipping out your items via alternatives such as FedEx (however their rate seems to be about 11,150 yen for 2 kgs parcel, as opposed to 4,000 yen for EMS).
