How to Order/preorder items?

Go to our contact page and send us a message, as simple as that. Let us know of what you want, most of the time just a name of the item will be enough for us to locate your item. You may provide us picture or a link of the item that you are looking for for faster response.

How to about auction order?

For auction order, just send us the link and your maximum bid.

I want to bid this auction, it's urgent and it's ending in an hour!!

We're truly sorry but as we are not active 24 hours a day, we need at least 24 hours to process an auction. We will try our best to catch these urgent auctions, but if it's less than 24 hours, we can't give any promise that we will be able to catch them in time.

Why Amazon market and Rakuten items are not combinable?

Amazon market and Rakuten market consist of thousands of different seller. Each seller has their own shipping cot and are not combinable with each other, even though they llist their items under the same site.

Can I cancel my order?

You can only cancel if your order is coming from in-stock items listed on our stock page. You CANNOT cancel preorder items, and generally all other shop orders. For auction items, however, we can help by lowering down the bid to the lowest amount possible. If you still win in the end though, there is nothing else we can do unfortunately.

How much will it cost me to order this and that?

Our rate are 700 yen for shop order and 700 yen+10% for auction order.

How about the items listed on Yokatta's main page?

For the items listed on our sale or preorder page (and sometimes Twitter page), no additional service cost is required.

Why sometimes I have to pay more than the fees listed above?

Depending on the shop, sometimes you will have to pay additional domestic shipping (Japan has yet to invent teleportation, although we're getting at it!), Paypal fees, local bank wire fees, in some cases even 5% domestic consuption tax. All of these fees are not included in our basic fees listed above, these costs are not within our control, therefore you will have to pay for these extra costs as well on top of the base fees. Feel free to contact us beforehand to find out whether there any of these costs required to be paid before ordering your items.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Paypal (for payment via bank and credit cards), and Western Union for those who are unable to use Paypal. Please note that we need additional 250 yen for Western Union Payment.

When do I have to pay preorder items?

As soon as you placed your order.

How does deposit payment for auction works?

In order to bid an auction you will have to deposit 50% of your maximum bid. In the case of you losing the auction we will refund all the amount (including Paypal fee). If you win, of course we will deduct the total amount with your deposit amount as well. Nothing will be taken from this deposit without your consent.

Can I pay in USD?

If all else fails, then yes you can pay in USD, but do keep in mind that there are additional currency conversion charges for payment made other than yen, so please consult us before sending the amount in USD.

What shipping options do I have?

EMS (3~4 days)
Airmail (7~10 days)
SAL A.K.A Economy airmail (2~3 weeks)
Seamail (2~3 months)
We use TNT / FedEx only for items that are exceeding 30 kgs / 3 meters (usually used for car parts).

Please note that SAL and Airmail offers no insurance for damages and losses. Only EMS does.
Cardboard box fees (only applicable if cardboard box is required to be provided by Yokatta, e.g. when you consolidate more than one items from multiple seller) is 200 yen regardless of the box size.

Can I add tracking number?

Sure, you may add tracking number for 500 yen for SAL and Airmail. EMS shipping comes with both tracking number and missing item insurance, however please note that missing item insurance is NOT damage insurance, therefore the post office will not handle broken items for EMS, unfortunately.

But I want my item to arrive in perfect condition!

We offer extra heavy repacking option for additional fees, depending on the size of your item. Please contact us regarding how much the additional fees will be.

How long is your handling time?

We will usually ship within 5 business days of receiving cleared payment. Please note that we are not responsible for postal service transit times (e.g. 4 days for EMS but ended up arriving in 10 days, sometimes up to 3 weeks for economy airmail and such). Transit times may vary between countries, particularly during peak periods. Please also note that we often have Tsunami in Japan, and there are many cases of 1~2 days delay due to this.
